Terms and Conditions
All rental items will require prepayment in the form of a major credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Discover/AMEX). All credit card information will be stored on our secure payment gateway through our merchant account for no more than 6 months.
Your information will remain confidential and your credit card will not be charged unless you either (i) purchase the rental order with the credit card, (ii) there is damage or loss to any of the items, (iii) if items are not returned to the original laundry bags or containers in which they were delivered upon your departure, or (iv) you request additional items to be ordered after placing the original order.
Our policy lasts up to 14 days from your rental date (this includes weather cancellations). If your order is canceled less than 14 days from reservation date, there will be a 20% restocking fee deducted from the refund to the credit card you have supplied as payment. If your order is canceled less than 48 hours from reservation date, no refund is available.
Once your order is cancelled, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your cancellation request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Delivery of Items
We only deliver to the Maryland (Ocean City and Ocean Pines) beach resort areas. Delivery fees apply and can be selected as part of the checkout process. The delivery rate is $10, which includes drop-off and pick-up. If you are placing an order within 72 hours of rental date, please email us to place an order. An additional $25 rush delivery will be applied to the total balance.
Deliveries begin at 10am and will continue until all deliveries are completed, but no later than 6pm on the same day. However, there may be deliveries that extend beyond the 6pm hour due to unforeseen events (traffic, emergency, etc.), but we will try our hardest to have your order delivered within a reasonable time period. Rental pick-ups will start at 9am at the end of your rental term.
If you are ordering set-up service, please be aware that we may not be able to gain access prior to your arrival if you are renting through a private owner or if you fail to put access information in the appropriate section(s) during the checkout process. If access is not available at the property prior to your arrival, you will be notified at the phone number you have provided, and other arrangements will be made. (We will try to get into the unit while the cleaning company is there but cannot guarantee access will be granted). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Return of Items
Pickup of items at the end of your rental period will begin at 9 AM. You do not need to be present at the time of pickup. Please leave items outside the front door of your rental unit. We do not have access to the inside of your unit. Items need to be ready by 9 AM for pickup. A $20 charge will be charged to your credit card on file if any items are not ready to be picked up after 9 AM or are inaccessible by our pickup team.
Damaged or Lost Items
The Lessee (renter) agrees to pay for any damage to or loss of items, regardless of cause, except reasonable wear. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase or cost of repair of damaged or lost items. Items damaged beyond repair will be paid for at the published replacement cost (retail price) when rented. Lessee agrees to pay for all damaged or missing items regardless of delivery location, delivery date, return date and return location. Damaged items will be charged to and paid for by credit card on file. Missing items on rental orders that are delivered by a member of Shore Marketing LLC DBA Shore Rentals OC staff are the responsibility of the lessee. Delivery of items does not guarantee all items will be accounted for. Please let us know immediately if any items are missing from your order at ShoreRentalsOC@gmail.com. The Lessee agrees to pay for equipment (at its published replacement cost when rented) for all types of theft or mysterious disappearance.
If you receive an item in poor or a concerning condition, you should contact Shore Rentals OC immediately for a replacement. Items are inspected and cleaned/sanitized prior to being placed back in inventory, rented back out and delivered, so if you do not contact Shore Rentals OC upon immediate receipt of any damaged/stained rental item(s), you will be held responsible for the damaged item(s), and will be charged for replacing the item at store retail cost upon our re-possession of the item and inspection at the end of your rental period.
A $50.00 inconvenience fee plus $5 per bed/bathroom will be charged if linens are not stripped from beds and towels are not removed from bathrooms and returned to the original laundry bags or containers in which they were delivered, and placed outside the property.
You will be responsible for damage to the sheets and/or towels, and any additional items rented, and will be billed accordingly, at the store’s cost (retail). A separate order will be generated, and you will receive email confirmation of the charge to your credit card for damaged or missing items.
Items Left on the Beach
Equipment is to NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED on the beach overnight. Certain areas will dispose of unattended items left on the beach after sunset. Other areas will flag equipment as a reminder to owners to remove personal articles. We take pride in our beautiful beaches. We ask that guest do the same. Leave the beach the way you found it, if not better. Throw away all trash. Be especially mindful of plastics. Cover all holes dug in the sand. Please be considerate of others as trash, plastic, and holes can be treacherous.
The weather is beyond our control and we do not offer refunds for items you cannot use due to the weather. NO REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS OR ANY OTHER CONDITIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
The Lessee acknowledges that Lessee has inspected the equipment and has determined that it is in good condition and suitable for the purpose for which it has been leased. The Lessee shall only use the property in the manner for which it is designed and intended to be used. Lessee assumes all responsibility for equipment while out of possession of lessor, and promises to return such equipment to the lessor in as good condition as it was at the effective date of the lease, natural wear from a responsible use expected.
Lessee shall indemnify and hold Lessor harmless from any and all claims, damages, or proceedings (including all costs, expenses, and attorney's fees) related to or arising out of Lessor's use or possession of the equipment. This equipment shall be used by the Lessee only. This writing contains and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. This lease agreement can only be modified by written agreement signed by both Lessor and Lessee. The Lessee represents that Lessee is at least eighteen (18) years of age and under no disability which will prevent Lessee from entering into this agreement. Lessee agrees not to part with or assign this lease or the equipment without the written consent of Lessor.
All equipment is used at Lessee's risk. Lessee understands that there exist certain risks of injury from the use or misuse of such items, including the potential risk of serious injury, disability, or death from the use of such items. Lessee assumes all responsibility for rented equipment while in Lessee's possession.
By reading this policy notice and placing an order with Shore Marketing, LLC DBA Shore Rentals OC, you are hereby agreeing to its terms and conditions. You will also indemnify and hold Shore Marketing, LLC DBA Shore Rentals OC, it’s members, owners, operators, agents, and employees, harmless and not responsible for any damage, injury, or fatality caused by any items you have rented. Under no circumstances will Shore Marketing, LLC DBA Shore Rentals OC. be held responsible for any damage to person or property, disability, injury or loss, including death, arising from the use of any rented equipment or the failure of the equipment to function as intended by the manufacturer. If you notice any products in poor, or concerning condition, it is your responsibility to notify Shore Marketing, LLC DBA Shore Rentals OC immediately.
